Building Permits in Westminster

Westminster's Building Division operates a paperless permitting process through eTRAKiT for applications, plans, inspections and results.

Current requirements

Review timing

Westminster currently publishes 30 business days for initial commercial building-permit review and 15 business days for subsequent commercial reviews. These figures are not applied to residential or other permit types.

Inspections

Next-business-day inspection requests have a 4 p.m. scheduling deadline. The City expressly notes that inspection windows are not guaranteed.
