Building Permits in Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow's Inspection / Code Compliance staff administer building permits, construction inspections and certificates of occupancy within the city.

Current adopted codes

The City currently lists the 2018 IBC, 2018 IRC, 2018 IFC, 2018 IMC, 2018 IFGC and 2020 NEC, as amended by Oklahoma and by the City. Broken Arrow also states that the energy code is not separately adopted and that the 2006 IECC is used where referenced under the state amendments. Permits, inspections and fees
