The City also notes the UCC transition rule for qualifying prior contracts: where a contract with a contractor or design professional was signed before January 1, 2026, a permit may be issued under the previous code if the application is submitted within the stated six-month window under Section 304. Applicants should confirm eligibility rather than assuming the transition applies.
