Fees and state framework

The City's published building-permit fee schedule under Ordinance 04-2023 lists a $25 administration and technology fee; for construction cost up to $2,000, the listed building-permit fee is $25, and above $2,000 it is $25 plus $7 per $1,000 in excess of $2,000. The schedule also lists a state permit fee and separate occupancy, zoning and other charges. Applicants should use the current City schedule because fees can be amended.
